The Wall

by Dorothy Allen Pickard | First Acts

A man leaves an affectionate message for his daughter while driving slowly through a carwash. As he recalls their weekend together and memories from her childhood, it becomes clear that this is more than just a catch-up.

Dorothy is an award-winning filmmaker. She is a member of Breach Theatre and is co-editor of Another Gaze Journal. Her documentaries, fictional shorts and multimedia shows have won prizes including the Guardian Documentary Award and Total Theatre Award.
