My Place: Aaron Rose

A look inside the Hollywood home of American artist, writer, filmmaker and curator Aaron Rose. In 1992, Rose opened his New York gallery, which would become a hub for the DIY underground scene in the Lower East Side for more than a decade. Showcasing artists such as Mark Gonzales, Sofia Coppola and Harmony Korine, Rose’s gallery would give the subcultures of skateboarding, surf, punk, hip hop and graffiti a huge indie platforms.
